COVID accelerated non-cash payment adoption, and Pacto's founders saw a market opportunity in POS and integrated payments for small businesses. We partnered with Getnet (with a 1-year in-market exclusivity) to release a Toast/Square-equivalent platform.

Upon exclusivity expiration, we partnered with OpenPay/BBVA to power their smartPOS rollout and SMB onboarding technology shift, including a production pilot.

The production pilot succeeded, and the solution was migrated to a bank-hosted setup to prepare for national rollout.

To solve problems upstream of payments, Pacto developed automation and data intelligence solutions that simplify complex processes for financial institutions.
